Chasing the Trail for K-Way

The Project

As part of a content shoot for K-Way’s new outdoor line, we headed to Paarl Rock for the second production of an already full day. After shooting hiking-focused content earlier that morning, the afternoon was about capturing a fresh set of energetic visuals against one of the Cape’s most striking natural backdrops.

The Challenge

With roughly three hours on location and an extensive shot list to work through, the pace was quick from the start. We needed to cover multiple moments, products and movements while making the most of the dramatic landscape and the time available to us.

The Approach

We leaned into the momentum of the day: moving fast, staying playful and using the scale of Paarl Rock to bring a sense of adventure to the film. From sweeping outdoor moments to bold, punchy zooms, the shoot was energetic, instinctive and built for social.

It was a fast turnaround in a beautiful setting, and a reminder of how much can be created when a small team, a strong location and the right energy come together.
